Over thirty years ago my father Kostas returned to Nissaki from military service with a good idea.
Greece was still recovering from the economic depression, but the first tourists were also arriving.
Foods were not in general supply since most people produced their own and were well supplied from their olive groves, fields and smallholdings.
Kostas had the idea to establish a taverna serving the best of local produce and decided to call it Vitamins to emphasise the goodness of the food.
Taverna Vitamins is now run by me, my wife Maria and our two daughters Ntina and Amalia. We continue the tradition and serve quality Corfiot, Greek and international food skillfully prepared by our chef
Miltos who has been with us for 8 years. Our food is served in pleasant and friendly surroundings.
Where are we.
The village of Nissaki is situated on the beautiful north
east coast of the island of Corfu nestling beneath Mt.
Pantokrator the islands highest peak.
Vitamins
Taverna is at the northern end of the village, on
the road approximately 400 metres past the church.
Take a drink at our bar or eat inside if you prefer.
Our terrace overlooks the sea with
stunning views of Mt. Pantokrator and across the sea towards Corfu Town.
When Are We Open.
We are open for lunch and dinner during the
summer months of May to the end of October.
During busy periods it is advisable to reserve the tables overlooking the sea.
